Hello! My name is Mir, and that's all you need to know. I'm huge on anime and manga, and while my art skills are greatly lacking, I'm an author that's always improving! I write mostly fanfiction, but I'm also good with roleplaying. x3
Umm... I collect various manga and lotsa Jones Soda bottles. x3 I'm afraid of thunderstorms and crossing the street. My favorite foods are cream cheese wontons and Jones Soda, and my least favorite foods are scallops and milk.
I've got four pets... My dog, Piper, a German Sheperd, and three cats: Cricket, the calico, Edward Elric, the gorgeous blackie, and Hinata, this salt-and-peppery looking longhair. I used to have this gorgeous grey tabby, Riku, but she passed away.
Yesterday, there was some serious drama on joserin.deviantart.com's page, concerning homosexuality. The comments have been hidden, but I'd like to put in my two cents. For real.
I'm not going to hide this anymore. The thing that affects my views and will earn me disgust, respect, enemies, and allies.
As a bisexual young woman, I hate the persecution. I want it to stop without fighting. It's pointless. To love whoever you want, regardless of their gender or race or religion is a beautiful thing. My girlfriend agrees.
If your views on me as a person change because of this, tell me. Be honest when commenting. That's all I ask. If you support me, great! If you want me to jump off of a cliff, say so! I won't lash out.
By typing this journal, I've become a member of a community that I already lovely. I'm glad to be a part of it. However, I refuse to let the fact that people will turn against me because of this get to me.
